THE DASA MEDITATION METHOD
EASY AND NATURAL TO THE MIND AND BODY

"A team of researchers from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the University of Oslo, and the University of Sydney found that "nondirective" meditation, in which someone achieves a relaxed focus of attention by repeating a mantra or sound and lets his or her mind wander, is the most effective kind of meditation." --Business Insider 2014

STRESS MANAGEMENT MADE EASY
The purpose of the DASA technique is to equip each person with the most effective method for the release of stress and to promote growth in consciousness.

NATURAL TO THE MIND AND BODY
The DASA secular method involes both concentration and release, using a simple four-part procedure that focuses the mind then releases stress by deeply relaxing both the mind and body.

The DASA Meditation technique is simple and easy to learn.
  • Designed to improve health and well-being, and to support the body, mind, and spirit
  • Allows the body to experience profound levels of rest
  • Most see results in just five days
  • Minimum time involvement, 20 minutes twice a day

INTRODUCTION TO MEDITATION
It is ideal to attend an introductory lecture in advance of learning the DASA method. Learning the long list of science-backed benefits helps each student commit to his/her daily practice.

LEARNING THE DASA TECHNIQUE INVOLVES TWO PRIVATE-TRAINING SESSIONS.
  1. Meet with an instructor - 1/2 hr. It is ideal to meet an instructor in advance. Get an overview and discuss your goals for a meditation practice.
  2. First training session - 1 1/2 hrs. Learn the elegant, simple-to-follow DASA relaxation technique. Each person receives personal and private instruction.
  3. Second training session - 1 hr. The follow-up instruction ensures comprehension and proper use of the technique. This appointment includes time for questions the student may have.
  4. Check-in - Check in with the instructor to discuss your progress or to ask questions. A third meeting may be offered as needed (left to the discretion of the teacher and student).
