BRINGING MEDITATION TO THE WORKPLACE - What can you gain? 

The regular practice of meditation facilitates mind-body wellness in measurable ways. Studies document the following improvements: elevated mood, increased immune response, improved creativity and cognitive function, with the ability to cope with stressful situations with greater ease.

Meditation reduces respiratory rate which has positive effects on the heart and blood pressure.​

The greatest benefit is that the regular practice of meditation can improve brain health in just eight weeks. After just a few months, meditation increases the cortical thickness of the hippocampus, which governs learning and memory. Basically, it helps to keep your brain young
. Other benefits include increased attention, improved interpersonal skills, and an overall improved sense of well-being and happiness.  ​

THE TECHNIQUE

DASA Meditation is a powerful four-part technique used to dissolve daily stress and to achieve a relaxed state of awareness. 
​Regular meditation practice is essential to greater self-awareness and self-care, which is the foundation for all human health and wellness. As we cultivate self-awareness, we naturally desire to improve our state of health and wellbeing.

Employee Wellness Programs

Example Program Model

Customization offered as needed. 
  1. Week 1 / Group session / Introduction to meditation, preparation (1.5 hr.)
  2. Week 2 / Private lesson for each individual (1.5 hrs.)
  3. Week 3 / Group session / Group practice / Q&A (1 hr)
  4. Week 4 / Private lesson / Refresher and practice (1 hr.)
  5. Week 5 / Group session / Practice / Q&A (1 hr.)
     Follow-up coaching as needed.
  • The DASA Program combines three group sessions plus two 1:1 private sessions. The 1:1 sessions are intended for personalized instruction.
  • A second private session follows. This private session is designed to check the student's use of the technique, allowing time for question.
  • Finally, the program resumes back to a group model until the program concludes.
