with what we think, say, and do.
By Lorraine Alexander
In the whirlwind of the first chapter of the new year, we can easily feel fragmented—our thoughts can scatter, our plans don't seem to land as intended, and our actions seem disconnected from our true desires. But what if there was an easy way to bring thoughts, words, and actions back to harmony?
In essence—when our inner and outer worlds 'sync-up' with our authentic desires, we experience a state of coherence. This state fosters clarity, inner peace, authenticity, and awareness, enriching every aspect of life.
Be authentic
People are drawn to individuals that exhibit balance in thoughts, words, and actions. They have achieved balance in their internal landscape, along with their external expression that is seen in the world. In other words, they are authentic. True to their personality, values, and spirit, regardless of pressures to act otherwise. They are consistent in thoughts, words, and actions, and assume responsibility for their mistakes.
Authenticity is a hallmark of personal growth and maturity, indicating that we are living with intention by honoring our core principles. Being authentic sets a positive example, and inspires others to pursue greater self-awareness and authenticity in their own lives. In this state of alignment, we can navigate obstacles with greater ease. And as our inner harmony expands, we experience deep and enriching relationships and interactions
Live in a state of flow
When our thoughts, words, and actions are aligned, we experience an undeniable ease and flow. Life becomes fulfilling and meaningful. As we honor our core values, we live life with intention, our actions become purposeful, and life flows with greater ease.
At the heart of alignment lies the development of awareness—and meditation plays a vital role in this process. A regular meditation practice, ideally twice a day, can dissolve deep layers of stress. When we are no longer bogged down by stress, we can easily allow our higher nature to unfold, leading to personal growth, heightened awareness, and self-actualization.
- dissolve accumulated stress,
- quiet and calm distracting mental chatter,
- encourage clarity and growth of awareness for self-actualization.
Living life with intention and authenticity
The journey of aligning our inner and outer worlds is a process. It requires effort, reflection, and patience, yet the rewards are profound. As we cultivate coherence between our thoughts, words, and actions through meditation, we become more at peace with ourselves and the world around us.
By aligning with our true essence, we are better prepared to meet life’s challenges with grace and ease. In time, we become a beacon of light for others, inspiring balance and awareness.
As we reflect on the transformative power of self-awareness and meditation, we’re also proud to announce this remarkable milestone:
DASA Meditation™ celebrates 50 years—half a century of guiding individuals toward peace, clarity, purpose, and personal transformation.
In the 70's, Adeshananda, the founder of DASA Meditation™, envisioned a simple yet deeply effective meditation. Her vision was to create an easy-to-follow, dogma-free practice to help individuals release their deepest stress, while facilitating higher awareness and lasting inner peace. In 1975, she launched DASA Meditation™.
After two generations, the DASA technique remains true to the founder's vision, guiding students through a journey of clarity, resilience, and self-awareness. This 50-year milestone is a testament to the transformative power of DASA Meditation™ and the lasting impact it has on those who embrace this simple yet deeply effective daily practice.
As we celebrate this incredible achievement, may we continue to thrive in harmony, inspiring others to live life in health, wellness, and higher awareness. Here’s to a historic 50-year journey of DASA Meditation™—with many years of transformation to come.
